Public Involvement
Community involvement in the planning process is key to the project’s success. A Planning Advisory Committee (PAC) is established during the project initiation and consists of a group of airport stakeholders who have been asked to aid in the study process. The role of the PAC is to provide input and feedback throughout the process, which each member representing a different organization or perspective.
The public is also invited to participate in the planning process. All community members are encouraged to engage in the process and provide comments to the project team. One public information workshop will also be held during the final phase of the planning process. The workshop will be conducted in an open-house format where attendees will have the opportunity to speak with the planning team one-on-one to learn about the ALP Update and ask questions. The workshop will be advertised locally and on this website once a date/location has been determined.
